Why it matters

What your child walks away with

Real outcomes across three time horizons — the university application, the first job, and everything after.

For university

Stand apart from every other applicant

  • A reference letter from a named executive at a real Singapore company — verifiable on LinkedIn
  • A compiled portfolio of actual deliverables, not course certificates
  • Evidence of professional responsibility before age 18
  • A real answer to "tell us about a challenge you overcame" — not a fabricated essay prompt story
  • A differentiator that admissions committees cannot ignore
For work

Real tools, real tasks, real feedback

  • Hands-on experience with the tools used in global companies: Jira, Slack, Notion, Figma, GitHub & AWS — plus the full professional toolstack (not limited to these)
  • Deliverables reviewed by a senior professional — not a teacher
  • Understanding of async professional communication
  • A track record of completed work, not just intentions
For life

Skills no school teaches

  • Self-direction: managing your own time without a teacher watching
  • The ability to take a brief, execute, and deliver — at any age
  • How to handle feedback without taking it personally
  • How to communicate when things slip — proactively, not after the fact
  • How to disagree professionally without damaging a relationship
  • Confidence that comes from having done something real

The credential that matters

Not a certificate.
A letter.

Every fellowship ends with one thing: a letter signed by the Managing Director, documenting what you did, what you delivered, and what you proved. Verifiable online. Permanent.

How the program works

Six stages from application to international reference letter — fully remote, fully async.

01

Apply

Complete the application form and take the Eduentry psychometric assessment (30 min). No prior experience required.

02

Get Selected

We review every application personally. Fewer than 30% of applicants are accepted. You hear back within 5 business days.

03

Onboard

Week 1: access your Notion hub, Slack workspace, Jira board, and Google Drive folder. Complete orientation at your own pace (~8 hours across 5 days).

04

Work

Receive your first project brief. Work 8–10 hours per week, async, on real tasks inside our portfolio companies. Submit deliverables via Jira.

05

Get Reviewed

A senior mentor reviews every deliverable within 48 hours and provides written feedback. Work below standard is returned for revision — we never issue a letter for work that hasn't met the bar.

06

Graduate

Receive your international reference letter, personally signed by the Managing Director — documenting your specific contributions, the standard your work met, and your professional growth. Comes with a compiled portfolio of all completed deliverables and a permanent verification URL admissions committees can check themselves. See a sample letter →

One proves your child went somewhere. The other proves they did something. A named executive vouching for specific work your child delivered is a different category of credential — one a course certificate cannot replicate.

School Partnerships

Refer your students.
We do the rest.

We partner with school counsellors and university advisors who want to offer their students a meaningful early-career credential — without creating any extra workload for themselves.

What the partnership includes
🌱

A genuine head start for your students

Most students leave school having never worked on a real brief, met a real deadline, or had their output reviewed by a professional. This changes that — before university applications, not after.

📋

Zero admin paperwork

We handle all onboarding, parental consent forms, and compliance documentation. Nothing lands on your desk.

📊

Monthly progress reports

You receive a brief monthly summary on each referred student — useful for counselling files and school records.

🌍

Exclusive per-school partnership

One named counsellor per school. No competing referrals — you are the single point of contact for your institution.

Exclusive partnerships — limited availability per region

Common questions

Everything parents ask

Yes. This is a project-based fellowship run through Magenta Networks Pte Ltd, a Singapore-registered company — not a formal employment or internship contract. Local labor laws governing paid employment do not apply. We recommend checking the specific regulations in your country if you have questions.
Okan Cimen, Managing Director of Magenta Networks Pte Ltd. Every letter is personally reviewed and signed by him. His profile is verifiable on LinkedIn.
8–10 hours per week on average, worked asynchronously — no fixed hours, no live sessions. The program is designed to fit around a full academic schedule, and work pauses automatically during exam periods with advance notice.
Real project work: competitive analysis, market research, data dashboards, content strategy, SEO audits, or technical tasks depending on their department. Every task has a real deliverable used by the company.
We accept fewer than 30% of applicants. Every student takes the Eduentry psychometric assessment at intake. We assign students to departments based on their cognitive profile, not self-selection.
Yes. All work is asynchronous. Students set their own hours within the week. Brief timelines can be extended during exam periods with advance notice.
English. This is part of the value — your child works in a global professional environment from day one. Students who enter with limited English consistently finish with professional-level written English.
If Magenta Networks cancels the program, a full refund is issued. If a student withdraws after onboarding begins, a pro-rated refund applies. We do not issue refunds for completed months.
An online certificate proves your child completed a course. A reference letter from a named executive proves they delivered real work to a real company. University admissions committees weight these very differently.
New cohorts open on the 1st of every month. Apply anytime — we review applications on a rolling basis. The next available cohort is shown on the application form.
Yes — and we expect it. Every serious professional uses AI tools today. What we assess is judgment and output quality, not effort or word count. A fellow who uses AI to produce a weak brief has failed the brief. One who uses AI to produce a sharp, well-reasoned deliverable has demonstrated exactly the skill we are looking for. AI is a tool, not a shortcut — and learning to direct it effectively is part of what the fellowship teaches.
Genuinely challenging — that is the point. Fellows work on real briefs with real deadlines, and deliverables that don't meet the standard are returned for revision rather than accepted. Most students find the first two to three weeks the hardest: adjusting to async communication, working without a teacher telling them what to do next, and producing output that will be used by a real company. By month two, most have found their rhythm. Students who want a comfortable experience will struggle. Students who want to grow quickly will thrive.
